With Paul in growing demand on the international airshow circuit, he needed a dedicated solo aircraft for his displays in South Korea and China. He found it in the United States.
VH-PXB began life in 2006 as a set of plans for the legendary Pitts “Super Stinker”. Over the next 15 years, American builder Joshua Pruzek turned it into something special. He borrowed many of the design secrets Steve Wolf and Tony Horvath developed for the Wolf Pitts Pro: a carbon fibre cowl and tailplane, a Wolf-style canopy, extended “ear” ailerons and swept wingtips.
Powered by a hand-built 338 hp Lycoming swinging a Hartzell Claw propeller, it first took to the skies in the US as N806PS in 2021. Now in Paul’s hands, it carries the same spirit as his famous Wolf Pitts Pro to crowds across Asia.
