The Lancair 320 is a two-seat low wing monoplane made of composite construction with retractable tricycle undercarriage. The composite design of this aircraft is very light in construction requiring only a small economical engine to produce fast cruising speeds.
Cruising speeds of 315km/hr, range of 1250nm and a fuel burn of 30ltrs per hour makes the aircraft very appealing to the touring and air racing pilot alike.
The Lancair aircraft can be seen competing in many air race series around the world with many builders opting between 160hp to 300hp engines.
